HEY STRANGERS!

Back in June we announced that Steamboat Style (our apparel brand) would soon be returning. Whilst this was true, we know we’ve been taking our time and re-releasing our best sellers and fan favourite products. Finally after months of planning and an immense number of distractions, Steamboat Style is once again creating ‘Fashion Made With Magic‘ starting TODAY!

That’s right, Steamboat Style is ready and raring to go with some of our favourite returning products (like our new and improved High School Musical inspired collection), with some new items sprinkled in there too!

PLUS Wanderful Adventurers won’t be missing out. As part of Steamboat’s return, our West Coast Road Trip stickers are becoming available via Steamboat’s Etsy account and a range of Wanderful Apparel is planned!

New products will be arriving onto the store as well as a gradual return of some of our previous best sellers!

What is Steamboat Style

Steamboat Style is a passion project for me (Jake). I started the brand in 2018 to cater to Disney fans, like me, who enjoy dressing in theme park merchandise in and out of the parks. This brand was born from wanting to find Disney apparel that wasn’t too loud, colourful, covered in characters etc. I enjoy a much more subtle design and like it when the merchandise slightly hints at the parks whilst not screaming “I’m a theme park t-shirt!”

From 2018 to 2020 I worked hard to bring my ideas to life and felt like we had found relative success in the Disney small shop community, had made a name for ourselves and were seen in a positive light. I was fortunate that Georgia and Kirsty Clyne joined the Steamboat Teamboat in 2019 to increase the quality of our social media content.

In 2020, I had started a second brand, SOAP Collective. Alongside my family, this new business was growing steadily and whilst working full time, coping with the pandemic and wanting to dedicate as much effort as I could to one brand, I made the difficult decision to close Steamboat Style at the end of the year, providing SOAP Collective with as much time, effort, resources and passion as I could throughout the next two years.

Steamboat Style FAQs

Do you ship internationally?

We DO ship internationally! We utilise production centres around the world, your product will automatically be fulfilled at your nearest centre with the product in stock.

Are your products unisex?

YES! A big part of Steamboat Style is to provide unisex products that anyone can wear in or out of the theme parks. Some items may lean more feminine or masculine but you rock whatever style you want to!

What is your return and exchange policy?

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns. Every product is made to order which reduced waste in an extremely wasteful industry and also allows us to provide global fulfilment.

What sizes do you offer?

For the most part, each clothing item is available from XS – 3XL. In some cases there may be more or less sizes depending on stock and availability from suppliers. Each product will have a unique size guide to help you find your fit.

How do I place an order?

Steamboat Style (at the time of this blog being posted) is exclusively hosted on Etsy. We may expand to new platforms in the future but to place an order, head to our Etsy store. https://www.etsy.com/shop/SteamboatsStyle

How long does it take to receive my order?

Each item is made to order and each product has a different turnaround time. We also provide international shipping. For the most accurate turnaround and delivery time, add an item to your cart on Etsy and input your address to see the estimated delivery.

Can I track my order?

Most deliveries will receive a tracking number. Smaller orders e.g. a single sticker may not be provided with one. If you don’t get one, contact us and we’ll look into it for you.

How should I care and wash clothing items?

Each item of apparel will have a care/washing label. Please refer to this label for instructions.

What happens if I receive a damaged or the wrong product?

If this happens, please don’t hesitate to contact us immediately, we’re eager to help resolve these issues. Each situation is case-by-case so we wouldn’t have a specific answer to cover all damage/incorrect orders. Please contact us via Instagram @steaboat.style or wanderful.jake@gmail.com – please include an order number, description of the damage or issue and photographs so we can begin an investigation.

You’re in Canada, how do I order to the UK

A big question we anticipate is how do you get orders to the UK, USA, France, Australia etc if we’re based in Canada?

Yes, we’re in Canada but our production is not! Another thing returning from Steamboat’s past is the drop-shipping model. We plan, design and select the specific products but when you place an order, a third party will fulfill the order for us. This is perfect for our situation as our production company has several centres around the world and aims to produce your order at the nearest facility to you. This means a product will be made and shipped local to you and should reduce shipping costs and delivery times.

Each product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you than fast fashion brands. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so shopping with us is making a thoughtful purchasing decision!
